Extreme Police K9 – This German Boxer Is One Badass Dog!!

Police dogs, often referred to in North America as “K-9″s (which is a homophone of canine), are dogs that are specifically trained to assist police and other law-enforcement personnel in their work…

…such as searching for drugs and explosives, searching for lost people, looking for crime scene evidence, and protecting their handlers.

The most commonly used breed is the German Shepherd. But don’t underestimate our Boxer Friends!

This A-M-A-Z-I-N-G (and I repeat, AMAZING!!) German Boxer, has made over 500 arrests in less than 4 years as a police dog!!!!!!! MUCH more than most human police in their whole careers.

Watch the video on the next page and be amazed by this Extreme Police! K9 style!

  1. My baby boy is 80lbs of muscle as well! He is a big love bug. He thinks everyone & every animal wants to play. However, I have heard him growl when he thinks someone might hurt me… Very protective!! Boxers are awesome!

  2. There aren’t a lot of breeders of German boxers in the US. By appearances, German boxers are larger and heavier boned. They also have shorter muzzles. Most breeders of full German boxers do not crop, dock, or remove dew claws.

  3. My German boy. He’s around 6 months old in this picture. He’s from the same breeder as the dog in the video.

There are also different health concerns with German and American lines, so there are slightly different health tests that you should look for if shopping for a puppy.

  4. I’d guess over 90% (if not more) of the boxers on the US are from American lines. Even if you adopt, the different health risks are important to know. For example, DM is a huge problem in the American lines, but is pretty much nonexistent in German lines. German lines have seen a lot of juvenile kidney disease in recent years, though. ARVC in American lines, SAS in German.

  5. Yours may full out a bit more, but she’s not really growing anymore. She’s a good size for a female boxer. All these people on here bragging about their 90-120 lb boxers should realize that either their dogs are obese or poorly bred. Some German males may get to 90 lbs, but American lines should never be that big and no boxer should be 120 lbs. Taking a breed that is already so prone to heart problems and making them larger than they should be is pretty much a death sentence.

  6. This is Max when he means business he means it but he is also very lovable alot of people are very timadated by his looks and size. But that is okay he protects what’s his.
