Angry Neighbor Shoots Woman’s Golden Retriever Twice In Front Of Her Kids

Estefany Perez is traumatized by the sight of her 9-month old Golden Retriever, Sol, being shot in front of her and her children.

The dog was outside playing in Little Rock, Arkansas with her neighbor’s children when the nightmare happened.

“Whenever I ran outside, I heard the gunshot. I saw my puppy dog sitting in his pile of blood,” Perez stated. “That’s just something you can’t un-see.”

One bullet entered Sol’s eye and the other missed his brain by millimeters, entered his neck and traveled down his neck. Perez says her neighbor is the responsible party.

Another neighbor told police she saw a man come out of the house next to Perez and shoot the dog as the children looked on. Perez says the man looked right at her and was very angry.

Police searched his house but did not find a gun. They did find ammunition and they turned the case over to Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms. Sadly, no one has been arrested and Perez wants justice for Sol.

“I know he’s still on antibiotics. He’s still on steroids. We don’t know if he has vision in his left eye yet or if he’s going to be able to keep it,” Perez shared.

The goal is to have Sol home with his family by the time Christmas comes. We wish the sweet dog an uneventful recovery.
