Elderly Dog Reunites with Soldier. The Dog’s Reaction is PRICELESS!

The 13-year-old Golden Retriever, Buddy, is pretty much always happy wagging her tail whenever her family comes home.

When Buddy's mom, Private Hannah Foraker returned home from her 3 months basic combat training to spend Christmas with her family, the 13-year-old pup who has arthritis and is mostly deaf, was incredibly emotional.

Foraker was looking forward to reuniting with her dog, but she wasn't prepared for Buddy's intense, emotional reaction to seeing her owner again.

“We opened the front door and she came running out and greeted me and my family, but then kind of did a double take and came back to me,” Foraker said. “She was completely overwhelmed and she couldn’t even stand up.”

Have some tissues ready and be prepared to shed some happy tears as you watch this senior dog greet Foraker and rolls on the ground with happiness in the video on the next page.

    We currently own our 3rd Goldie, who we rescued from the pound. We owned our 1st 2 Goldies for their entire lives & have been so rewarded by the affection & trust that our 3rd Goldie has placed in us. My 1st Goldie had hip dyplasia & so I always took him swimming, my 2nd Goldie was fine & loved his walks, as does my current dog. I couldn’t recommend another dog more highly!
