Mom Catches The Dog Trying To Sneak Friends Into The House In Her Mouth

Mya, a six-year-old Great Pyrenees, has developed an unexpected and heartwarming hobby that’s adorable and mischievous.

While most dogs enjoy chasing balls or fetching sticks, Mya has found a unique fascination—sneaking turtles into the house, much to the surprise of her owner, Rachel.

It seems that Mya has made it her mission to “befriend” these shelled creatures, quietly smuggling them into the house when her mom isn’t looking.

Mya’s technique for introducing her new “friends” is as gentle as comical. With remarkable care for such a large dog, Mya picks up the turtles in her mouth and carries them inside as if they were prized treasures.

Despite her size, she handles the turtles with a delicacy that surprises Rachel each time. There’s no harm intended—just a dog fascinated by her unlikely companions.

For Rachel, however, Mya’s turtle-collecting hobby presents an amusing yet frequent challenge.

Whenever Mya sneaks a turtle into the house, Rachel quickly notices the strange sight of a small shelled creature wandering across her floor.

She lovingly pleads with Mya to release her latest “guest,” laughing at the dog’s innocent but odd habit of collecting unwilling companions.

This funny routine has become a regular part of life in Rachel’s household. As Mya parades her turtle “friends” through the house with pride, Rachel takes on the role of rescuer.

Each time, she gently encourages Mya to drop the turtle, and after a little coaxing, the patient Great Pyrenees lets her turtle friend go. Of course, this only lasts until Mya finds her next opportunity for a stealthy retrieval.

Mya’s antics, though a bit naughty, are all in good fun. Her gentle nature and playful spirit shine through in her interactions with the turtles, never intending them any harm.

Mya seems to view these tiny creatures as playmates or new friends, eagerly gathering them as if to care for them. To her, the turtles are just particular companions—though Rachel might have a different opinion!

Rachel affectionately refers to Mya as a “little kidnapper,” given her repeated attempts to bring the turtles inside against their will. But behind the playful label is a dog with a heart of gold.

Mya’s gentle touch and fascination with turtles have become an endearing quirk, making her lovable.

While Rachel may wish her pup would focus on more traditional dog hobbies, Mya’s love for her unusual friends brings plenty of smiles—and the occasional turtle rescue mission.
