There are lots of advantages to making your own dog treats. It’s an inexpensive way to keep your furry friends happy and you know that there aren’t any chemicals or artificial flavors in them.
Here are 10 of our favorite DIY dog treat recipes.
Carrot Cake Cupcakes
Your furry friends can enjoy carrot cake too! To make these cupcakes, combine 2 cups of shredded carrots, 3 eggs, 1/2 cup of unsweetened applesauce, 2 tsp of cinnamon, 1/2 cup of rolled oats and 3 cups of whole wheat flour.
Spoon the mixture into a greased muffin tin and bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. You can even add some cream cheese frosting. Find the recipe here.
