Disabled Dogs Go To The Beach For The First Time

One of the things that we constantly do in life is asking for more and we forget to appreciate the things that really matter. It is in our nature.

Instead of being appreciative of what we have, we get sad and sometimes even depressed by envying the lives of other people.

This is one of the worst things that someone can do, compare his/her life to that of another person. On the other hand, the most appreciative tend to be the ones who have the least things to be grateful for.

This is the irony of life. A few years ago, there was research being made about children in Africa being happier than in developed parts of the world.

Despite not having a lot of things in life, children there were happy and grateful to have each other and three meals per day, which are basic needs for someone…

…while other children who had toys and a lot of things that they had asked for in the past were not as happy and satisfied as to the children in Africa. The same thing happens with dogs as well.

A lot of dogs who live with their owners may not be as happy as stray dogs who live with each other or in the case that we have here disabled dogs.

There are a lot of disabled dogs out there and the fact that many of them here are enjoying something that might be completely normal and part of the daily routine for another dog is amazing.

This bunch of disabled dogs could not be happier at running on a beach for the first time. Salima Kadaoui decided to take 18 dogs from the animal shelter SFT Animal Sanctuary which she founded in Tangiers, Morocco, for a day trip.

Taking their first steps on to the sand, the precious pooches run through the surf lapping against the shore, completely forgetting they have wheelchairs.

Salima said: “They loved the beach. Well, we can all learn something from this video. As fun and amazing friends as dog can be, they are also great teachers for all of us.

To me personally, someone who gets to watch a lot of dog videos on a daily basis, I learn a lot from them and something that I learned about this particular video is the fact that happiness comes from even the smallest things in life.

I really hope this video will inspire other people out there and especially disabled people who think that there is no hope for them in life.

Actually, there is and as long as it is for these adorable dogs here, it is for you also. God bless!
