A Port Elizabeth man nearly lost his Pit Bull when a thief tried to steal his pooch from the fence of his home in broad daylight.
Security camera footage of this incident captured the entire struggle between the sneaky thief and the determined dog-owner.

In this security footage, we see the dognapper climbing the iron gate and stooping down to grab the Pit Bull by the collar.
Luckily for the dog, the owner was right outside and catches the thief red-handed. After a brief altercation, the owner was able to shoo the thief away.
