CPR for Dogs: Do You Know What To Do If Your Dog Stops Breathing?

Do you know what to do if your dog stops breathing?

Knowing a few emergency procedures, such as CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and the Heimlich maneuver for dogs, could be critical in saving your dog's life because if you find your dog is choking, or having difficulty breathing, you may not have time to get to a vet and your dog could suffocate.

You can't beat attending a real CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) class held and taught by a reputable and qualified organization such as the American Red Cross, but an emergency guide on how to perform an emergency CPR on your dog could go a long way.. and could even save your pooch's life!

  1. Thanks Georgie good to know Rick was all good with resuscitating CoCo but it was the chocking that did alot of damage to his hands Im wondering if Rick had performed the Heimlich maneuver if that would of worked. The operation went well . Coco had bitten that hard that it left fragments of bone which was making Rick very sick causing a serious bone infection . Rick is jusr happy CoCo is alive . Love you Georgie was good chatting the other night on the ph .xx

  2. Seriously….keep it on your phone and print it out and keep taped insude a medicne cabinet. I never in a million years thought I would need to do this but I did. Unfortunately it was too late so please don’t think this could or would never happen to you!
