Have you ever heard of the term ‘pre-departure cues'? It's what your dogs pick up on (e.g. your every movement.. lol) prior to your leaving.

For example, if you grab your car keys, or your coat and hat, and make your way to the door, your dog gets anxious right away.

Well, this is exactly what's happening with this Boxer. Whenever dad grabs his “walking” shoes, Brock the Boxer dog expects dad to ask him to go for a walk.

What happens if dad ignores Brock after he puts on his “walking” shoes?

    My 3 boxer girl’s know if they dont hear the garage door close when I get home that a walk is about to happen, and won’t leave me alone til we get going, we also have to spell alot of the words around them, ( walk, cookie , food, ride, ect. ) Boxers are always ease dropping. Best breed ever! Boxers rule ♡!

    Brock is a very patient Boxer boy compared to my Bogey! He also understands personal space. When Bogey picks up on cues and wants something he talks non-stop and gets in your face until he gets it. He’ll also pick up a toy and run circles around the furniture.

    I miss by boxer baby everyday we lost her at 9yrs old to a stroke,she was the best dog ever and understood everything we said 5yrs on and I’m starting to think perhaps I get get another boxer .They are the best breed of dog to have .
