Here's the video of Brock the “changing shoes detector” Boxer dog picking up on pre-departure cues of dad putting on his “walking” shoes.

Mine knows the tells of going Up north to the cabin, or a ride. he watches me if i do cretin things he’s all over it and excited and runs to the door, puts his face as close as he can to the door Crack that opens then peeks back at me.
