Beware! Guard Pug On Duty!

Pugs are intelligent, tenacious, strong, physically fit, loyal and heroic. And they pack one hell of a bite.

Everyone knows pugs are cute, but did you know that they make great guard dogs? Here's a video that shows how a pug who has gone through special training can become an incredible guard dog.

Wrinkles the Pug (starring in this video) demonstrates how pugs will guard your home while you're away… and will let criminals know, “hey, this house is guarded by a pug!”

So, if you've got a pug guard dog, put up the “Beware of Pug” or “Beware, Guard Pug On Duty” sign to warn the criminals and the burglars they better not mess with your home or they're going to get savagely attacked by a ferocious pug guard dog!

  1. My pug is a great watch dog.
Not only does he bark at everyone that walks too close to our house, he lets me know every time my neighbor comes and goes, when a delivery truck is here or when ant tunnels past our house. If our other dog needs to go outside the pug will bark till we make it happen.
He lets us know when the toast is about to burn or when the oven warms up and a crumb inside burns. That’s awesome!!
Oh he also lets us know if there are dogs or horses on the tv. And if we forget to unpause the movie in a timely matter he will bark at that too.
Most importantly he barks and tries to defend us from the vacuum.

  2. I have 2 pugs and a pit. My male pug and pit (nicknamed pugbull by her vet) would be happy to let the robbers in and show them where all the goodies are, the fridge. My female pug is evil and is a fantastic guard/watch dog. I have no doubt she would eat an intruder alive.
