The country may feel like it’s broken. The political friction that infested social media then boiled over during mass protests ached to divide us.
But now, through tragedy that isn’t man’s fault but Mother Nature’s, we can see humanity at its finest. No matter the color of one’s skin or the political party one may support, humans are not thinking about their differences. They are, instead, coming together to save animals big and small.
This, again, is humanity at its finest.
Facing dangers to pursue those that are helpless, those that cannot save themselves…
As the water’s strength took hold, so did the strength of man!
Two-legged heroes fighting hard to save four-legged friends
I ask again: Isn’t this humanity at its finest? I think so too!
