Angel is a two-year-old German Shepherd who is getting some brand new wheels from his rescuers at the Arizona Humane Society.
According to a post on the shelter’s website, Angel was dragging his back legs behind him when he was first discovered near Arizona’s Canyon Lake.
After Angel was examined, vets determined that he was paralyzed from the waist down.

The AHS on their website wrote that “Being young and curious, Angel was ready to live life to the fullest, but dog wheelchairs are extremely expensive.”
Shelter volunteers decided to assemble a makeshift wheelchair made of PVC pipe and harnesses. Angel tried out the wheelchair, and as you can see from the video below, Angel is now good to go.

“It was $25 well spent,” Daniel tells People Magazine, “and while it may not be anything fancy, it gives Angel mobility. That’s the goal we wanted to accomplish.”
