Dog best friends were dumped at a shelter, and they can’t stop hugging each other

Dog best friends Adonis and Apollo were dumped at a high kill shelter in Texas, and they couldn’t stop hugging each other.

Cindy Droogmans, founder of the A-Team Elite Rescue Dogs, a group that rescues needy dogs from overcrowded shelters, heard about the dogs and took them to her veterinarian in Huntington, New York.

Cindy assumes the best friends were abandoned for being heartworm positive, like lots of dogs in Texas. But they’re now receiving full treatment.

Adonis and Apollo are inseparable, and that will make it even harder for them to find a forever home. But someone out there is surely willing to take on double the responsibility for these sweet dogs!

“A bonded pair is always difficult to place, but look at them,” said Cindy. “How can they ever be split up?”

  1. What is wrong with people in this world? Dogs or any other animal should be treated with love and respect like the rest of our family!
Goes to show you that some people should never have children or pets!!!
SAD, SAD WORLD WE LIVE IN TODAY!

  2. Brothers forever and don’t separate them or they’ll die of a broken heart. I’ve seen this with twin cows. Very sad when the farmer didn’t realize what happened. I was a kid. Ill never forget.

  3. Aww bless them they have to be together it would break there wee hearts to be seperated they would pine for each other we lost one of ours and the other one pined wee lost him 4 months later good luck in finding them forever home there gorgeous baby’s xx

  4. I wish with all my heart I could take them, but I don’t have a yard and live in apartment, but they are beautiful, I am sure there has to be a wonderful person out there just longing to take them home!
