20 Things All Chihuahua Owners Must Never Forget

Chihuahuas… comical, entertaining, and loyal little dogs, absolutely brimming with personality – often a quirky and eccentric personality unmatched by any other breed.

Other than that generalization, Chihuahuas are extremely variable. You can find individuals who are lively or placid. Bold or timid. Feisty or mellow. Confident or nervous. Stubborn or eager to please.

It’s been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, Chihuahuas are no exception!

But sometimes, we take our furry friends and wonderful companions for granted. There are important life lessons that are sometimes easy to forget in our hectic lives, that all Chihuahua owners must never forget.

If we want to pay back the favor and give them the best life possible, these 20 important reminders should serve you well as awesome Chihuahua owners. The last one (#20) brought me to tears…

  1. I can see she was a real lover girl! And she DOES look like my Little Bill. My mother had gotten him at a place called “Wild Side” in State College Pa. I don’t think it is there anymore. It was on Hamilton Ave. Never know, they could have been brother and sister? That is why I am saying where she got him. I have seen the world be small. ha ha

  2. My girl wasn’t a Chihuahua, but those rules apply to all animals. I was with my girl on all of these steps. Even number 20, especially number 20. I miss my girl so much. 07/08/2016, will be 1 year since she crossed the rainbow bridge. R.I.P NIKKI

  3. You never really get over the loss of an animal. My Mum was so distraught at losing her dogs that she cannot bring herself to get another, and this still stands today, years after her last one went to heaven…:-( x

  4. I have one who looks just like first one on the left.My baby girl Tina was a tiny little thing weighing only 2 pds and passed away,I still mourn her death I pray I will be able to have another just like her she was long haired and light tan and I miss her so much and her mamma which was like ball of soft white cotton and a tiny little long hair.I pray someone will have one I can get I’m retired and can’t get out to even find one,and so many have high prices so I’m unable to buy.But I still pray I will once again have my babies to be able to love.
