20 Things All Chihuahua Owners Must Never Forget

Chihuahuas… comical, entertaining, and loyal little dogs, absolutely brimming with personality – often a quirky and eccentric personality unmatched by any other breed.

Other than that generalization, Chihuahuas are extremely variable. You can find individuals who are lively or placid. Bold or timid. Feisty or mellow. Confident or nervous. Stubborn or eager to please.

It’s been often said that dogs are the only creatures on earth that love you more than they love themselves. Well, Chihuahuas are no exception!

  1. It has been 3 years since I had to say goodbye to my sweet Tootsie. I was there till the very end, it was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. She was only 7 years old, she died of congestive heart failure. I had her since she was 8 weeks old. I rescued her from a puppy mill. I will Always love her.

  2. This is my baby Brodie. I love him so much. I take him everywhere. I even work at home so we are always together. Last weekend i even took him to a horror convention where he loved up on some of the famous people. It brought me joy for him to be there with me.

  3. I remember the day our first Chihuahua, April passed away at age 17. I remember her eyes telling me it was ok and time for her to go. She was and will alway be a member of our family. I have Daisy now who is 5 and she is my baby.
