18 years ago, Linda Koebner helped two laboratory chimps transition from a life behind bars back to having a normal and happy life.

The two chimps, Doll and Swing had not seen Linda since the day she helped to transform their lives. When they are reunited for the first time, it’s hard not to shed a tear, it’s a truly magical and emotional moment.

Linda still works with chimps like Doll and Swing and made it her mission to give others a better life since saving them all those years ago and said:

It’s important for all of us as a species to realize that all animals are individuals and they have feelings and thoughts and they suffer the pain and the joy that we do…”

    Ok, now I am crying. This was a very emotional reunion and most unexpected given the amount of time that went by. God bless them in their old age. I feel bad for the one who is crippled from being used for polio testing. YOU DIDN’T NEED THE CAPTION YOU PUT TO GET US TO VIEW THIS. “IGNORING ALL WARNINGS, SHE WALKS TOO CLOSE.” like something terrible was going to happen which will only keep those who care from watching.
