18 Years After Saving Chimp Their Eyes Meet Again — Ignoring All Warnings, She Walks Too Close

18 years ago, Linda Koebner helped two laboratory chimps transition from a life behind bars back to having a normal and happy life.

The two chimps, Doll and Swing had not seen Linda since the day she helped to transform their lives. When they are reunited for the first time, it’s hard not to shed a tear, it’s a truly magical and emotional moment.

Linda still works with chimps like Doll and Swing and made it her mission to give others a better life since saving them all those years ago and said:

It’s important for all of us as a species to realize that all animals are individuals and they have feelings and thoughts and they suffer the pain and the joy that we do…”

  1. remember the chimps they sent up to the moon before they let humans go in 62 they went thru horrible abuse. than the owner came back 25 years later and they still recognized her and never forgot the love she given them, animals are the most forgiving creatures yet they never been priched or told, they just do.

  2. How wonderful !!! There should be more people like this so very precious lady !!! All animals have the feelings of sadness, pain, loneliness, hunger, suffering, as well as, joy, togetherness, trust and happiness 🙂

  3. I share your thoughts completely you magnificent Human being, people think they’re superior to other living creatures. The Earth would be guaranteed survival if it were inhabited by ONLY the wildlife of the world.

  4. OK…I admit it, I’m a marshmallow….my dog knows that and gets exactly what he wants. But, this made me cry and cry…. I do feel that until a human has a relationship with a non-verbal animal, they are not whole.
