  1. Bacon grease is really really bad for your dogs pancreatitis. It can leads to organ failure and death. Although alot of things in this article arent accurate I definitely would recommend to stop feeding your dog spoonfuls of bacon grease.. Ask your vet before feeding him/her anything other than dog food.

  2. Well said Mary Paddock. Growing up in a large family in the 50’s, there were plenty of leftovers and scraps. My Dad, a product of farm life and the Depression, scooped everything into a large pan all day, including soggy cereal and milk, and our two large purebred dogs, a blue merle collie and an Afghan, had a feast. My worried mother consulted their Vet who said it was the best thing for them. They both had gorgeous coats and energy to burn. They were not coddled or sent to groomers but always won best in class and competed against each other for best in show. They both lived to a ripe old age.

Alas I live alone now and have no scraps so my two Malapoos have to eat dog food. One is totally blind and the other is going blind. One suffers dreadfully from skin allergies and is prone to ear mites. They are good natured but look less than happy

  3. My Shepherd got into the freezer will we were gone and somehow managed to get the chocolate ice cream off the top shelf and ate it all and wasn’t sick in the slightest. Some dogs react differently just like humans.

  4. My dog broke into a box of chocolate and was extremely ill for 24 hours. I’ve heard of some dogs getting chocolate and being just fine, but for many it is quite toxic. Additionally, The darker the chocolate the more lethal it is
