As a responsible dog owner, it's critical to know what you can and can't feed your dog. Is it enough to just stick with a decent doggy diet?

I think the most important is watch how your furry friends react to certain foods . And moderation is important. . My Chloie has 2 table spoons of cottage cheese 3 x week for breakfast the other mornings a poached egg . She 8 healthy as can be perfect weight 17 lbs . Merrick food 2 x day small portions . She also loves Salmon skin ,sweet potatoes. .

Years ago ( before all the fancy Animal foods came into the shops) All dogs were fed on scraps and left overs from the family meals,,, I don’t remember any of them being malnourished,,,, It’s all they had,,,Animals will not eat anything that will harm them,,, (THEY ARE NOT STUPID)

I don’t think the list is true on most of the things listed . Mine eats a very healthy dog food $65 ish a bag , but still gets table food and treats . However he does not get the bones in the photo due to them cutting his guns open , I could only imagine what they do to the insides

I feed my dogs garlic and onion all the time! They need to eat a whole head of garlic in one sitting to make them sick! Garlic is great to repel fleas also!
