As a responsible dog owner, it's critical to know what you can and can't feed your dog. Is it enough to just stick with a decent doggy diet?

Nope. There's a ton of foods you probably didn't know about that can actually be really bad for your dog, including some that are perfectly healthy for humans.

There's nothing worse than having your dog suffer over a simple mistake in diet. While they're still man's best friend, they probably shouldn't eat like your best friend.

    First of all, the layout of the site makes my soul cringe. Just WHY. Secondly, a lot of these are misleading, due to the fact that they’d need to consume large quantities in order to have an adverse reaction. I could eat a lot of cheese and be really sorry about it too, considering my body can’t properly digest it. But a little ain’t gonna kill me, nor Marshall. Some of them are no brainers, but others, such as dairy, are fine in moderation. We fed my dogs everything and Cheyenne lived to be 14, Max around 12. Luke had medical problems to begin with so he’s a different story, but didn’t Cuddles live to be like 90 and I’m sure she was fed everything too lmao

    My dog is 15, and very healthy and still quite active. She has always gotten our left over foods. Every 3-4 days I clean out the fridge and give her all kinds of good stuff. Would never give her chocolate or apple cores or fruit pits.

    So annoying and honestly I skip right over any article like it.
    But- I took one for the doggy lover team lol here’s the list
    Chocolate, milk, cheese, onions, macadamia nuts, garlic, grapes, avocados, apple cores, yeast bread, caffeine, bacon.

    I cook for my 2 dogs. Chicken, liver, steak, or turkey. Then add their fav veggies with rice. Then pour homemade gravy on top. Then they get their frozen yogurt or peanut butter homemade Cookies for doggies, or plain popcorn
