There's nothing worse than having your dog suffer over a simple mistake in diet. While they're still man's best friend, they probably shouldn't eat like your best friend.

  1. Of course Dogs are going to LOVE what is bad for them & they will NOT turn it away. Most dogs have zero impulse control when it comes to snacks just like people!!! We KNOW some of the stuff we eat won’t agree with our bodies, but when bacon (or whatever your weakness) is put in front of your face-YOU JUST CAN’T HELP IT. As dog owners we just have to pay attention to them as well as that nagging voice in our head that says “you know what, they may not be happy for 30 seconds if I don’t give them what they want-but maybe it will help me keep them around longer!!!!” Just like with children!!

  2. Most of this is pure BS! I have always fed my dogs milk, bacon and cheese their entire lives!!! I have one that 16, one that’s 14 and and 11 year old. Jeez I guess I should stop feeding them this stuff so I don’t kill them. Really!?!?!?!

  3. Had my dog when he was 4 weeks old. Been giving him a tiny bit of coffee, chocolate, and other stuff that we are not suppose to give him. If you give him a tiny amount and build resistance he won’t die and nothing will happen to him. He is 2 years old now. His regular diet is chicken breast(cooked), chicken drumsticks (raw) sometimes beef and pork (both cooked) that’s been his diet since he 3 months or so.

  4. My boxer ate a whole chocolate cake once. She was fine. I would never be paranoid about this stuff. I wouldn’t feed my dog chocolate or feed them a lot of this stuff but dogs get into stuff… it happens… some people will read this though and rush their 160 lb mastiff to the vet cause they ate a Hershey kiss. Smh.

  5. My poodle lived for 14 years which is an average age for poodles and my mother shared a cup of coffee with him a couple times a day, everyday for his entire life. He had his own cup and had to have cream and sugar just like my mom. Never seemed to bother his health.

  6. Click bait. This is garbage. As soon as I read “milk” and “lactose intolerance” .. I read garbage. Animals (like people who are also animals) are sometimes allergic to things. You’ll figure it out if you’re a good pet owner, and human.

  7. I call BS on a lot of those items like the other folks below do. I know the onion and caffeine and chocolate as well as raisins etc. But a little cheese and bacon i’m not so sure about.
