As a responsible dog owner, it's critical to know what you can and can't feed your dog. Is it enough to just stick with a decent doggy diet?
Nope. There's a ton of foods you probably didn't know about that can actually be really bad for your dog, including some that are perfectly healthy for humans.
There's nothing worse than having your dog suffer over a simple mistake in diet. While they're still man's best friend, they probably shouldn't eat like your best friend.

It depends on the chocolate. Cocoa is deadly for dogs. Lots of dogs actually died when owners got that mulch that was made from cocoa. I had to induce vomiting on one of my dogs when she ate a desert that was made with cocoa.

Leslie Parrot,I had multiple dogs. I had a dozen at once. I used to rescue dogs when I was younger. They ranged in size from 6 lbs to 110 lbs. Even my large dogs lived to be in their teens and 3 dogs were nearly 20. None of them died because of food. They died from old- age issues. Maggie here died on November at the age of 18 years,9 mo ths

Actually, this is completely incorrect. Of course they can eat human food. Meat is human food. Monkeys eat bananas. Do you claim those are not human food? They can have human food in moderation with no problem whatsoever.

Common sense, yes. An occasional bite of pizza, cheese, ice cream, etc., is not going to hurt a dog. Feeding these foods every day in large quantities will cause a dog to be overweight or can cause pancreatitis. But not all dogs are the same.
