As a responsible dog owner, it's critical to know what you can and can't feed your dog. Is it enough to just stick with a decent doggy diet?
Nope. There's a ton of foods you probably didn't know about that can actually be really bad for your dog, including some that are perfectly healthy for humans.
There's nothing worse than having your dog suffer over a simple mistake in diet. While they're still man's best friend, they probably shouldn't eat like your best friend.

My vet told me to use small pieces of velveta cheese to put pills in it. My lab could get his pills out of everything else. Beau got his pills that way for almost 13 years, also my bostons too. I think it’s like anything you have to try it and if they have a reaction don’t give it to them. Ice cream 2 of my dogs can eat it and 1 can’t. There are some foods that are definitely not good for them.

Slightly inaccurate! Dogs would have to eat 10000’s of Apple pips for them to have any effect and small amounts of cheese will not kill your dog

My little Boston Bandit just absolutely loved Saturdays when we would go to the park, he would swim for hours, chasing tennis balls thrown into the lake. After hours of play and exercise, we always stopped by the Dairy Queen for a vanilla cone. I liked the cone and he ate from a little red plastic spoon, then home for a bath to wash the lake off an exhausted and very happy boy.
