As a responsible dog owner, it's critical to know what you can and can't feed your dog. Is it enough to just stick with a decent doggy diet?

    As a child the family dogs of everybody we knew were fed only on table scraps ! Everything we ate they ate mixed in with pedigree chum mixer biscuits , the only dog food in a can i can remember was chappie . We were only discussing this the other day . Dogs for years survived on this diet . I know pork is bad for dogs , my two have the occasional ice cream cone after a walk , one of mine loves a cup of tea in his bowl ( i did buy caffeine free tea bags tho ) and both love the odd cube of cheese .
