Shelter Dog Refuses To Be Adopted Unless Her Best Friend Can Come Too

At the last minute, Alaina decided to adopt both Lucy and Sully! Even though she was originally only looking to bring home one dog, she understood how important keeping this bond intact would be to the dogs’ wellbeing. Alaina had no problem adopting two canine companions once she considered the alternative.

As soon as Lucy and Sully arrived at Alaina’s home, it was instantly clear that they needed each other for support. They were both nervous being in a brand-new environment, but they helped each other acclimate to their new home.

Lucy and Sully quickly figured out a comfortable routine in their new home and would always make sure that the other one was taken care of emotionally. If they were playing outside, they would constantly check in on each other. They shared everything together and even slept in the same position every night!

Alaina knew she’d struck gold with Lucy and Sully. Even though having two dogs meant twice the work, she was happy to put in as much effort as needed to ensure they felt at ease in their new home. Lucy and Sully truly were best friends, and thanks to Alaina, they’ll be able to stay that way!
