WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT

Authorities in Butler County, Ohio, are looking for the owner of a dog who died of extreme starvation. The dog’s lifeless body was found in a black-wired cage outside an abandoned business property. He was dropped at the rear end parking lot, so no one heard the dog’s painful cries for weeks.

The dog had been long dead when he was found by a mail carrier passing through the area. Investigators say that the dog died a very slow, painful death all alone. This could have been avoided if the owner had simply surrendered the dog to a shelter.

Initial report states that the dog is a Cane Corso with a black and white pattern on his chest. The local Dog Warden says that this is not the first time someone has abandoned emaciated, abused dogs in the area. The authorities are sick of the repeated cases of abandonment, and have requested the public to be aware of such suspicious abusers living in the community.
