World’s Smallest Pug?! Check Out How TINY She Is…

Meet Pip, a four-month-old pug. Pip apparently weighs just over 1 pound and her owner, Joanne Astley, thinks she could be one of the smallest pugs in the world.

This tiny little ball of snuffles, Pip the tiny pug stands just less than four inches tall… so tiny she's smaller than a soda can!

Pip was born in England last January and has three other siblings who are twice her size! The four-month-old runt of the litter is a purebred pug, who just never seemed to grow, according to Joanne.

Joanne, a 54-year-old woman from Britain, decided to start breeding pugs last year, and was delighted when two-year-old Ruby gave birth to a litter of four in January.

But her delight soon turned to shock when she realized that one of the puppies was half the size of the others.

Check out the pics and video on the next page to learn more about Pip and see how tiny and adorable Pip is!

  1. It’s mixed look at those ears that stand up…so cute…I have a small one too…he’s a rescue. ..supposed to be registered but I never got papers since he’s a rescue. M.when I first got him he was about 7 lbs…he’s probably 9 now…this is Mugzi.

  2. I find that hard to believe. Registered with who exactly? Ill from the start? Are you dense? Do you not know what breeding entails? The poor pup should have never been bred. No one in their right mind is going to breed a pug and a chihuahua. A pug is a brachycephalic breed. Their born with soft pallets and their airways are prone to collapse. Breeding them. with another type of dog is a damn foolish thing to do.
Anyone who knows the breed and knows what their doing knows that.
