An adorable video of a koala being freed from netting wrapped tightly around his body has gone viral online.
The koala was found tangled in a chicken coop fence by a woman who desperately worked with scissors to free the animal.
“We woke early one morning to find this little fella wrapped up in the nylon fencing we use around our chicken pen. He sat quietly while we freed him and then he ran off happily to climb one of our trees.”
The woman can be heard reassuring the koala, as he looks up at her calmly while she continues to free the furry marsupial.
‘It's okay my baby, we're going to fix this for you,' she said.
‘I've got you, try not to struggle.'
After freeing his arms from the rope, the koala begins to show signs of distress when the woman reaches for the animal's foot tightly wrapped in the nylon fence.
But before the woman could grab the scissors, the koala manages to crawl out of the rope and run into nearby bushland.
