According to Dr. Kathryn Primm, a practicing small animal veterinarian and practice owner at Applebrook Animal Hospital in Ooltewah, Tennessee, it's not because the dog's embarrassed.

    That is really intresting cause zayda looks at me Everytime. I watch her out the backdoor sometime when I am in a rush and I notice she looks at the door Everytime I am there and watches me the whole time.
