Rhino Lightning was surrendered to the Humane Society of Utah, and it was made clear he was very loved by his former tiny human. But the family could no longer keep him, so they dropped the dog off at the shelter.
And Rhino was surrendered along with a heartbreaking yet adorable note from his boy.
And because of all of the attention the note would receive, Rhino was adopted into a new home to start a brand new life! 🙂
While it’s very unfortunate and sad that this little kid didn’t get to keep his loving pet, it’s comforting to know there’s a happy ending to the story and a new beginning for Rhino!
