Pugs love food, and begging can easily get out of hand if family members are in the habit of feeding their dog from the table or offering scraps from plates.
It is important that owners only offer treats (especially “people” food) after the dog performs a specified action, like sitting.
They can also feed the Pug before the rest of the family eats, which makes the dog less likely to beg.
Given Pugs’ short statures and tendency to do cute things, it is important that their owners do not inadvertently encourage undesirable behaviors by laughing or giving in to their Pugs’ demands.
Well, having said that, there are rare instances where the pug becomes overprotective and even becomes territorial over his food.
That's what seems to be happening with Sadie. She's turned into an overprotective pug, who doesn't want anyone to touch HER pizza boxes!!
Check out the video on the next page and watch Sadie the pug as she randomly decides that the pizza boxes belongs to her!

Yeah, that’s not a mentally healthy dog. Especially, for a pug.

Yes, because food aggression in a dog is just super adorable.
Tell me, if this were, say, a Pit Bull or a Rottweiler, would it be as “cute”?
Humanity is truly a foul species.

I agree with you about the improper behavior. I don’t think she would bite, as she looked more nervous than aggressive. But I suppose you never know. As a lover of this breed, my heart broke watching this. It wasn’t amusing
