Watching This Pug Act Territorial Over HER Pizza Is About To Make Your Day

Pugs love food, and begging can easily get out of hand if family members are in the habit of feeding their dog from the table or offering scraps from plates.

It is important that owners only offer treats (especially “people” food) after the dog performs a specified action, like sitting.

They can also feed the Pug before the rest of the family eats, which makes the dog less likely to beg.

Given Pugs’ short statures and tendency to do cute things, it is important that their owners do not inadvertently encourage undesirable behaviors by laughing or giving in to their Pugs’ demands.

Well, having said that, there are rare instances where the pug becomes overprotective and even becomes territorial over his food.

That's what seems to be happening with Sadie. She's turned into an overprotective pug, who doesn't want anyone to touch HER pizza boxes!!

Check out the video on the next page and watch Sadie the pug as she randomly decides that the pizza boxes belongs to her!

  1. Glad to know your pug isn’t the only psychopath out there. But seriously? “Feed your pug first so they are less likely to beg.” <--- clearly never been in the same room with one.

  2. Yea it is and everyone in the video is laughing! If it gets possessive over pizza boxes what else would it get possessive over? They are making a game out of it and because it’s a pug it’s seen as a joke! If that was a pit bull or German shepherd they wouldn’t be laughing!

  3. actually she wasnt aggressive like you think ~ My pug does same thing over different items throughout the week, one day its toys another its his blanket .. you have to own a pug to understand trust me

  4. I do own a pug- she has never done this with her toys, bedding or food- I work in a kennels and seen food aggression and possession of toys in some dogs- luckily my pugs never done it as it would worry me around my young nephew

  5. My sweet boy Pongo was the funniest, most over protective puppy when it came to his chew toys, or any food at all. This sweet pug would show his teeth and growl softly!! But you could still take the food or toy away from him without a bite or anything. The whole act was just for show!!! Pugs are wonderful!!!

  6. I have a crazy territorial pug. She has had numerous health issues her entire life, which is what brought on the bad behavior. Including biting through my husbands thumb nail twice. We never encourage or laugh at this behavior. Honestly, though sometimes there really just crazy pugs. Good luck people. Pictured is 6 year old Penelope Grace, who has been on “hospice” for almost 2 years.
