Watching This Pug Act Territorial Over HER Pizza Is About To Make Your Day

Pugs love food, and begging can easily get out of hand if family members are in the habit of feeding their dog from the table or offering scraps from plates.

It is important that owners only offer treats (especially “people” food) after the dog performs a specified action, like sitting.

They can also feed the Pug before the rest of the family eats, which makes the dog less likely to beg.

Given Pugs’ short statures and tendency to do cute things, it is important that their owners do not inadvertently encourage undesirable behaviors by laughing or giving in to their Pugs’ demands.

Well, having said that, there are rare instances where the pug becomes overprotective and even becomes territorial over his food.

That's what seems to be happening with Sadie. She's turned into an overprotective pug, who doesn't want anyone to touch HER pizza boxes!!

Check out the video on the next page and watch Sadie the pug as she randomly decides that the pizza boxes belongs to her!

  1. I own 3 …. all rescue … mine DO NOT DO THAT … pugs will bite especially if agitated and food is involved …. I volunteer as a rescue for pugs and believe me an agitated pug will bite …. this is not funny.

  2. I agree, it’s not fair to tease the dog either in the name of entertainment, as a pug owner myself, I can tell the pug is clearly distressed and even if they only have little teeth, try explaining these videos to the rspca when it nips a neighbour or family members kid. Pugs are greedy animals and need to be trained from birth food discipline, no way should a pug be anywhere near pizza so this video antagonises the dog even further!

  3. I agree, please delete this. Laughing at this behaviour completely teaches the pug the wrong message. And then, like Cha N Non says, the pug will bite someone and consequently probably put down all because she did something her owners encouraged.

  4. This pug is exhibiting classic food aggression. Rather than encouraging it its owner should have concentrated on breaking the habit. This is really a how not to manage your pug video not an amusing one.
