    I can’t get into my pugs nose wrinkle.. I get so frustrated because he won’t stay still even for a second ( he likes to nap and cuddle but as soon as you touch his face he’s outta there!) and I don’t want to hold him too hard and hurt him.. I adopted him a month ago and I don’t think they cleaned it much.. So he’s not used to it.. He’s seen the vet and it’s clear and clean enough but I want to get him used to me cleaning his face.. Any suggestions..?
    Also can’t clean his teeth because of this..! but one problem at a time!

    I don’t think she really got into the deep wrinkle beneath the nose. To do that, I find it helps to lift the forehead a bit. And I think this needs to be done every few days. After washing with a wet cloth or cotton you must pass again with a dry one. No humidity should remain, as bacteria can develop and infection can set in. I lay my Doug on my lap on his back, and do a lot of belly scratching before. He doesn’t like it, either, but that position makes it easier.

    I go through a routine with my little guy every day and he loves it. I warm up a thin facecloth in nice warm water then i wash his face and get in between all his wrinkles. He enjoys it so much. Not sure if its the warmth of the facecloth or the attention. He gets more than enough attention so maybe its the warm cloth. Regardless, he loves it and it keeps his face from gettin crusty and his cheeks smellin funky.
