U.S. Marine Corps Mascot Bulldog Chesty Is A Top Dog (Literally)

Chesty has been the official bulldog mascot of the U.S. Marine Corps since February 2013.

He was promoted to Corporal on Aug. 29, 2014 during a ceremony at Marine Barracks Washington, D.C.

Here's a video clip capturing the ceremony where Cpl. Chesty XIV got officially promoted.

Look at his proud and responsible Bulldog face…

Despite an “unbecoming” run-in with Bravo the Golden Retriever of Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, appears to have been doing a pretty good job being  the top dog!
