Dogs are probably one of the most diverse-looking species on the planet. Thousands of years of breeding has created a wide range of distinctive breeds with drastically different colors, coats, sizes and shapes.

But what happens when you take some of these distinctive breeds and combine their most notable properties? You get dogs like these adorable cuties, who combine the best of both of their breeds.

  1. Yes, I realise that, but it took years of research, and testing to do that over genarations. Now all the sudden an Oops breeding is work more than a pedagree and so many end up unwanted.

  2. Alexis Joy Agsaulio that they are! We went to CorgiCon on the Beach in San Francisco with over 500 corgis and saw maybe 6 or 7 other Cardigans: even Pembroke people don’t know about cardis!

  3. What a load of rubbish! Several of these so-called mixes are clearly pure bred Cardigan Welsh Corgis, there is at least one Swedish Vallhunds, one or two are actually naturally occurring dwarves (It does occur in other breeds!) and I doubt some of the other dogs have ever even seen a corgi, let alone been the offspring of one! Corgis are such a wonderful breed, why would mix them?
