But what happens when you take some of these distinctive breeds and combine their most notable properties?

    We just got a boxer/lab mix. She is super smart and doing well. She looks a lot like the picture in this post except she is a little more boxer looking than that pup. We just had to put our boxer down and I did not want to go back to the breed, but she was so incredible I could not move away from it fully. I do hope that the mixing of the breed does weed out a few of the issues that comes with a boxer.

    Really Lisa, is that how your science lessons went ‘ well it works for a totally different species, so it has to work for this too’. Actually it doesn’t always work in dogs, I have done a considerable amount of looking into this over the years it has become fashionable and have my information from experts in that field , a pug gene carries the blue print for a pug, the boxer gene carries the blue print for a boxer, the genes are obviously different so it all depends on which tiny gene part is most dominant. You can match an extra large boxer with a tiny boxer, providing the female is the largest of course ( or do you have
    another opinion on that too.?) for giving birth, and you will probably get a mix of large,small & medium pups, because they all carry boxer genes. The gene blue print is set up to create a boxer, you will get a boxer, because as I said -different blue print which is why it works for humans. Different breeds of a similar size to each other works much better as their genes are set up to similar rates of growth.
