Meet University of Georgia Mascot Uga the English Bulldog

Here is one of the University of Georgia football team’s biggest stars – their mascot, Uga the English Bulldog, who gives new meaning to being treated “like a dog”.

Uga is present at every Georgia Bulldogs home football game, many away games, and other University-related functions and sports events, and usually wears a spiked collar and red jersey with varsity letter.

The red jersey is Uga's typical “uniform,” though he wears a green jersey on St. Patrick's Day.

Season after season, Uga is one of college football’s most valuable “players”… he’s often in his doghouse… but he’s a key part of the team!

    Meet Western Bulldogs Sid the team Mascot whom will be after a tough week of training and passing the medical fitness test attending his first Grand Final today representative the WB whom are in the finals for the first time since 1961 !!! Now that’s a legend ..

    Bulldog lovers will understand! When UGA VIII died in February 2011, I sent a sympathy card to the Seiler family expressing my condolences. Sonny Seiler sent me a handwritten thank you note for my thoughtfulness. Kind family.
