No, this isn’t the beginning of a bad joke. A couple of pit bulls friends really did walk into a hospital, but they just wanted to say hello and see what was up!
Needless to say, the sight caught everyone off guard.
The dogs wandered into St. Luke’s Anderson Campus, and their little adventure was caught on the surveillance cameras.
The pit buds started exploring just about every corner of the building as hospital staff watched in amusement and disbelief.
The two even decided to stop by the pharmacy to see if there were any treats back there!
The curious pups made their rounds before being greeted by security who made sure they had some water and were taken care of until the police could arrive and reunite them with their owners.
A big thanks to St. Luke’s staff and the police for handling the situation so well. The dogs were more than happy to cooperate with everyone, they just wanted to take a little tour! 😀
