Broken Hearted Dog Was Brought to a Shelter and Finds Out He’s Being Given Up

Animals do have a unique perception. They are fully aware whenever things aren’t okay. This dog, named “Toto,” found out that he was being given up when he stepped inside the busy Carson Animal Control office, in California, one Friday. In the video, you’ll see the instant Toto, a three-year-old Chihuahua, was given up along with a bit of his food.

Toto can be seen leaping up on his owner’s leg and trying to break free. The look on Toto’s face reveals it all. The main reason Toto was surrendered was because he was being too noisy. Which is, basically, a cheap excuse. There are many ways to handle this situation. You could always train your dog and training is available everywhere…

The Carson Animal Control office was frantic. They were almost full, and Toto had to find a foster home as soon as possible because a dog that is given up by their owner may be put down for any excuse.

Toto didn’t find a foster home. Thankfully, however, he got adopted instead! This adorable dog won’t have to worry about being given up again.

Don’t forget to share Toto’s story to all of your friends and family!

  1. Same here. Someone ditched this sweet boy just because they didn’t feel like having a dog anymore. The lady at the Humane Society said he was despondent and wouldn’t eat after they left him. We had just decided to start looking for another dog about a year after we lost our golden retriever who was 13. Four years later Reilly is a beloved member of our family and we absolutely couldn’t ask for a better dog. We feel like he was meant for us

  2. Dogs depend on and trust us but most importantly we become their whole lives. For someone to do this to a creature that would love him unconditionally until he died is so sad.

  3. My hearts breaks every time i hear this happen, my dog is 13 and she will be with us til the end, we always get shelter dogs, there the best, i hope that pup found his forever and ever home!!!

  4. I truly love Dobermans. They’re the old breed I have had worked with and this click bait slotch you share is the reason I’m leaving your page.
Step up your game, leave this negative BS where it belongs, in a depressing group titled “abused animals and stupid people. ” I’m sure you will find your audience. Stay on track with your topic: Doberman lovers. Thank you for the bummer.

  5. I think that people who don’t care about all animals have something wrong in them. How can you care about another human and not animals. Having a pet is a lifelong commitment to them that you will love and care for them as long as they live. If you can’t make that commitment don’t have a pet. They are better off without you.
