Animals do have a unique perception. They are fully aware whenever things aren’t okay. This dog, named “Toto,” found out that he was being given up when he stepped inside the busy Carson Animal Control office, in California, one Friday. In the video, you’ll see the instant Toto, a three-year-old Chihuahua, was given up along with a bit of his food.
Toto can be seen leaping up on his owner’s leg and trying to break free. The look on Toto’s face reveals it all. The main reason Toto was surrendered was because he was being too noisy. Which is, basically, a cheap excuse. There are many ways to handle this situation. You could always train your dog and training is available everywhere…
The Carson Animal Control office was frantic. They were almost full, and Toto had to find a foster home as soon as possible because a dog that is given up by their owner may be put down for any excuse.
Have a look at this video
Toto didn’t find a foster home. Thankfully, however, he got adopted instead! This adorable dog won’t have to worry about being given up again.
Don’t forget to share Toto’s story to all of your friends and family!

I could never do this to one of my dogs. They are family all with their own personalities and affection. When I was laid up for 6 months in 2015 my dogs gave me aid and comfort. Last year our little Gus herniated two discs in his spinal column and I spent a large amount of money on his surgery. He is back to being himself and is extremely loyal and affectionate. When I leave the house he waits at the garage door for me to return. If I leave a room for more than a couple of minutes he gets up to locate me and be in the room with me. My other Dachshund is a lap dog and sits with me when I have cluster attacks. Al four dogs show that they have emotion and connections to their masters.

Look girls you are right you buy a puppy for life, and often when the puppy cuteness has gone so has the dog no longer wanted which i agree is bloody wrong but these poor dogs belong to people that don’t care or know how to care or handle and train a dog I’ve had dogs all my life over fifty years, but i would rather some poor unloved dog rehomed than suffer a life of hate and regret put in the care of some one who will love and care for it, I’ve just got a dog from a rescue centre and since he’s been with us he has changed a lot he’s loved cared for and he thinks the world of us, and he’s in his forever home and is part of the family living in the house with us, now isn’t that better than being unloved in a home or garden not wanted and unloved

Barbara Cundiff, your right in some ways ,yes a dog is or should be for life but as I said things do and can change I’ve known a guy with a few dogs then he died and i had to rehome them it wasn’t nice to do and I found it heart breaking and that was no excuse he died, and as I said I work in a rescue centre and i see and hear all sorts of stories some very sad some you know is rubbish but you have to think what’s best for the dog and rehoming them in a loving home is the best any body can do, and alot of these dogs don’t even have basic training , so i have to teach them along with everything else, and most of these dogs just crave love

Thr Human Species are becoming less responsible…but i look at this situation….it could be the change the animal needed from a life of non-existing…possibly a chance of a life where someone really has….. the. ABILITY TO LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY….. I pray for that animal as well for others to have a second chance in life….as for the PERP….Karma. Is inevitable….AMEN!!!!!

People are getting worse when it comes to taking care of their pets, then to drop them off at a kill shelter? That is despicable. They have less of a chance of surviving, so questions: why does California have so many kill shelters? Since California has so many people in the entertainment industry why have they not got together to change these kill to non kill, started a push with California government to toughen laws on abuse and abandonment cases? We need the help from people whose voice will be heard since government offices turn a deaf ear from the rest of us, please start sending letters to people in the entertainment industry that care about animals, lets see how this works
