Broken Hearted Dog Was Brought to a Shelter and Finds Out He’s Being Given Up

Animals do have a unique perception. They are fully aware whenever things aren’t okay. This dog, named “Toto,” found out that he was being given up when he stepped inside the busy Carson Animal Control office, in California, one Friday. In the video, you’ll see the instant Toto, a three-year-old Chihuahua, was given up along with a bit of his food.

Toto can be seen leaping up on his owner’s leg and trying to break free. The look on Toto’s face reveals it all. The main reason Toto was surrendered was because he was being too noisy. Which is, basically, a cheap excuse. There are many ways to handle this situation. You could always train your dog and training is available everywhere…

The Carson Animal Control office was frantic. They were almost full, and Toto had to find a foster home as soon as possible because a dog that is given up by their owner may be put down for any excuse.

Have a look at this video

Toto didn’t find a foster home. Thankfully, however, he got adopted instead! This adorable dog won’t have to worry about being given up again.

Don’t forget to share Toto’s story to all of your friends and family!

  1. JT Anderson TL you are so bloody right. I’m sorry but there is no excuse in this world to abandon your pet. There is always another way. Jobs and houses come and go but pets are FAMILY

  2. This kind of thing makes me so sick and want to punch people in the throat! It will never end and you can bet they will suffer here and the place they call hell for people with no heart and they will be ignored thats the only thing that has a positive ending i help animals everyday and do what i can !

  3. U freaks dont know if this story is spun to b this way or if theres more to the story. It makes me damn sick that people dont have the same mentality off and away from here only for mayb important human lives like children..wheres ur tenacity on that subject. Priorities r so skewed

  4. Glad you felt the need to come on here and call me stupid. Do you feel better about your life now? Does it get you excited just to come into someone’s post that had NOTHING negative and then leave such a lovely comment? You don’t know me, you don’t know what I’ve been through, and I certainly don’t know you to give you my life history, so why don’t you shut the$#%&!@*up and take your negativity somewhere else. Bye$#%&!@*

  5. I know it’s sad but at least the owner surrendered him he didn’t lock him in a cage somewhere and throw him outside or buried him in the dirt up to his neck I would much rather people did this, this is what I’m talking about in educating the public we cannot make people feel guilty for surrendering their pets I know it’s sad but the alternative is a lot worse for an animal.

  6. My daughter rescued a bait dog. She is finding out little by little all of his health issues. She has a tight budget but she knows he is her responsibility and loves him so. He has scarred lungs and is in pain at times. She cries with him. But, he is so gentle, miraculously. She can take him to work and uses him with children.

  7. I have 2 teacup Chihuahuas yes they hate the post man want chicken and vegetables every day have pinched my bed and demand cups of tea,but i love every bone in there little body and will allways be with me for the rest of there lifes .

  8. Heartless owner put the owner in a nursing home and leave him their with no visitors or family members see how he or she will like it the owner is one Heartless douche bag

  9. Don’t get an animal if you aren’t committed to keeping and taking care of it FOR LIFE. Don’t get one if you can’t move somewhere that allows them. Don’t get one if you can’t be willing to train them instead of abandoning them. Don’t get one if you’re afraid of how they’ll work with your kids. Don’t get one if you’re not willing to take care of them medically as best you can. A LIVING CREATURE ISNT LIKE BUYING A TV THAT YOY CAN RETURN.

  10. Made me cry, They know, even when I take my little furry baby to the vet, and it’s a drop off, he looks at me as I am not coming back, I tell him I not leaving you, I ‘m coming back, boy when I come back he is so happy. They are just hairy furry babies. So sad. So if his kid was noisy was he gonna drop them off also? In the words of my late mother DUMB$#%&!@*!!!
