Trimming nails on your Pug is not always a fun job. Some pugs are reluctant, even terrified of getting their nails trimmed.
Some even starts screaming, yelping, and moving around constantly. You fight tooth and nails (no pun intended) to get their nails cut… the ultimate challenge of grit and persistence.

All my pugs always are calm for vet or groomer, at home it’s banshee all the way! I’ll pay so not stressing them and yes we have tried since infants so that’s not the problem

Sometimes, I think a bit of sedation or Valium might work wonders. I have seen them in action and Pugs are a breed of dog to clip nails of their own.

He isn’t terrified. That’s what they do when made to hold still. I walk my pug all the time and she gets tired way before “filing” her nails.

Not true, I have been clipping my pugs nails since we got him last October (he was 4 months) and it hates it. It takes my husband to hold him while I clip. He isn’t as bad as the pug in the video though.
