Annabelle and Jacques are the best of friends. But one night the two adorable terriers were accidentally let out, and only one was found the following morning – that is, until Jacques led a police officer straight to where Annabelle was pinned.
In the midst of a medical emergency with the pups’ owner, the two dogs slipped outside and ran into the woods for a night of fun and freedom, or so they thought… During their exploration, Annabella slipped down an icy ravine and became stuck under a fallen tree. Jacques stood by her side during the snowy night and went to get help as soon as the sun rose the following morning.
In a stroke of luck, the first person Jacques ran into was a police officer. So the fluffy pup barked and barked until the officer took notice. Then the smart dog ran a short distance towards Annabelle’s location, stopped and barked. The police officer sensed that something was wrong and followed Jacques to the dropoff where Annabelle was trapped. She was dangerously close to falling into the ice-cold river just feet below her. But the police officer was able to free Annabelle and return the duo to their home, all in thanks to Jacques’ bravery!
