Chris was taken aback when a stray dog wandered onto his property. The poor thing was very skinny and obviously trying to fend for herself out in the wild.
He gave her food and water, and she gobbled it up. Now it was time to figure out what this dog was doing here all alone…
Jolene was taken to the vet for a checkup, and it turned out she had no microchip. Chris was happy to learn this as he wanted to adopt her as his own — and that he did!
The girl has put on some healthy weight since choosing her new family, and it’s amazing to see.
