A leopard named Voodoo had seen a life of the most excruciating abuse. Instead of being in the wild, the sweet leopard was declawed, caged and bred non-stop by a private breeder. When rescuers from Cedar Cove Tiger Park heard about Voodoo, they knew they had to help him.

The rescuers not only got him out of a life of abuse, but also sheltered him in their happy sanctuary and showered him with extra love and care. With all the gentle care he received, Voodoo soon transformed into a happy, gracious beast!
This cute video captures Voodoo during one of his fun days. One of Voodoo’s caretakers, Steve Klein, reaches out to him to pet Voodoo while he naps. Voodoo is startled at first, but his response to being pet is truly incredible! He accepts the human’s gentle head-strokes with all his heart, and even lays down for more!
