Behold: A Star Wars Pug Parade Might Be The Most Amazing Parade Ever

A fleet of squish-faced Jedi, TIE fighters and a few Star Wars villains took to the streets of Portland on Sunday for the Oregon Humane Society's annual Pug Crawl fundraiser.

And oh, what a Pug Crawl it was.

The event, which was officially called Star Wars: The Pug Awakens, raised more than $28,000 and hosted more than 2,000 people and 800 pugs.

Regardless, check out some of the craftiest, most creative costumes from the event on the next page.

We wish these pups would show up in Episode VIII — they might give the Resistance a fighting chance.

  1. First off this is not an “event” this page is set up to reach out to everyone for our pug Juggernaut.

Hey everyone! Me and shannon have set up a go fundme account for our pug Juggernaut. We are asking for donations for his surgery. For those who are unable to donate we kindly ask everyone to share the page so that as many people are able to see the page.

Our beautiful boy has developed a large aggressive mast cell tumor. He is 10 years old and the worlds greatest pug. He is sweet, kind and great with dogs and people a like.

The tumor is in his ear and requires surgery so it does not spread. As of now it’s only part of his ear that has to be removed but if we wait any longer to gather funds, via work and selling plasma, it has a high likelihood of his whole ear being removed. The cost would also double.

We love our boy so very much and the thought of him having his whole ear removed and/or not being able to have the surgery at all and risk him getting cancer and passing sooner than he should is heart breaking.

We would appreciate anything to help with saving our precious pug’s ear and possibly life. If you want more information please feel free to ask via email or Facebook.
