    I don’t yet have a pitbull but I’m head over heels in love with them. I did a sales call today and a pit bull greeted me at the door. I almost forgot about the sales call because I was too busy playing with the dog.

    Yes it’s almost becoming an obsession lol. I’m unfortunately not anywhere near your shelter Anne, and I live in an apartment. One of the items on my list over the next few years is to adopt a pit bull from a shelter

    My grandbaby is a Pit Bull and i just love her to pieces cant wait to get all those kisses from her and another thing she saved my daughter and grandchildren from a fire by waking my daughter up a few weeks ago,she is my hero and i will be ever grateful to her

    I became a pitbull momma by accident as i was a foster mom of two puppies that i was told were labs. I can’t tell you how these dogs showed us how wrong the media are to these dogs. We love her soooo much and is such an amazing girl. She is the best family dog anyone could ask for and think everyone should adopt them.

    Everyone who says that “pitbull” is an umbrella term is helping bsl. Places where it exists like Ontario where I live the number of bites by “pitbulls” is around 3000. But that list does not include other breeds which are lumped into that (amstaff, staff bull terrier, bull terrier, am bully, corso, Dogo, presas, and most of all mixed breed dogs that look like apbt or any of the above) so they are lumping usually somewhere from 5-10 registered dog breeds into one category? And then people wonder why the number of bites are so high? Do we say “retriever type dog” and that covers lab, goldens, Newfoundlanders? No they are labeled as separate breeds so why with bully breeds do we list them the same. Education helps stop bsl. And there’s an education ^^

    And adba registry. Etc.
    AM staff terrier: akc registry
    Am bull dog
    Am bully
    Etc are actual breeds.
    Pit bulls is too loose. The actual Pit Bull is UKC American Pit Bull Terrier.
    There’s bully breeds, then there’s the apbt .
