    numer 4 is my idea of a perfect dachshund.. long ears, big dark eyes, “wattles” under his neck, big wrinkly short legged feet, and would you look at that chest..down between his ankles! would love to have him, would even consider a puppy in his case! I’m drooling Ed Mathews.

    We’ve had dachshunds in our family for 52 years. This describes me to a T. Rescued a beautiful red dachsie on 8/4 and on 9/12 she had 3 puppies. We had no idea she was pregnant. Have no idea what kind of dog dad was but they are cuties.
